Today’s scan found a 40-line dip in retained source lines against the last committed run, which tripped the refresh pipeline’s automatic regression guard and paused the deploy for review rather than publishing new numbers. Cumulative portfolio holds at 9,229 commits and 4.22M retained source lines, unchanged from yesterday’s committed refresh.

Velocity refresh — a small regression pauses today's auto-deploy
Triggered today's velocity GitHub Action (workflow_dispatch, run #205) to pull the latest metrics across all 14 tracked codebases. Total additions ticked up slightly to 6,855,769 (+10), but retained source lines dipped by 40 lines to 4,224,328 versus the 4,224,368 already committed to main — enough to trip the workflow's built-in regression guard, which refuses to auto-deploy any run where retained lines or total additions fall. Instead of committing straight to main, the run updated the existing review PR (#106, first opened Sep 27) with today's numbers rather than deploying them. Net effect: the committed dashboard data on main is unchanged from yesterday's refresh (9,229 commits, 4,224,368 retained lines, 6,855,759 total additions, generated 2026-09-27T11:15:14Z) — so no changes were needed to the velocity dashboard or story page today, since both derive their figures from src/lib/aiVelocityData.generated.json.
Open PR backlog keeps growing
Three PRs now sit open awaiting the site owner's review: #104 (Sep 26 build log plus a navigation consolidation, draft since Sep 26), #105 (Sep 27 build log, draft since Sep 27), and #106 (the regression-review PR, now on its second consecutive day of a flagged — likely benign — dip in retained lines). Because neither #104 nor #105 has merged, the live site's build-log archive currently still ends at the September 25 entry.

Published this build log at /insights/productivity-log-2026-09-28, documenting today's regression-guard pause and the growing review backlog. Updated the CurrentHappenings homepage card to reference today's entry. Since PRs #104 and #105 haven't merged yet, this entry continues from the last merged state (September 25) rather than stacking on either open branch, leaving a Sep 26–27 gap in the on-site archive until those PRs are reviewed — the same approach #105 used for the #104 gap a day earlier.
