Week 25: Dashboard UI upgrades, 100x positioning
Rolling productivity log for the 100x Engineer velocity dashboard. Today’s session focused on site improvements driven by voice notes captured in Ambient Scribe: nav clarity, chart UX, and sharpening the 100x engineer narrative on the homepage.

Velocity Dashboard added to main navigation
Promoted /ai-engineering-velocity to a top-level nav item with cyan accent styling so visitors can reach the 100x engineer dashboard directly from any page.
Time-range slider added to weekly velocity chart
Added a 4w / 8w / 12w window selector to the Weekly tab of the velocity dashboard, defaulting to the past 8 weeks. Lets visitors zoom into recent daily-resolution trends without changing the underlying dataset.
100x engineer positioning updated across homepage
Updated the AiVelocityTeaser section on the homepage to lead with "100x Engineer · AI-native velocity" and the headline "One operator. The output of a team." — making the agentic coding angle explicit.
Velocity refresh Action triggered
Manually triggered the Daily velocity refresh GitHub Action (workflow_dispatch on main) to pull the latest commit and PR metrics across all 14 tracked codebases before this log was published.

How today’s work was captured
All requirements for today’s changes came in via voice notes recorded in Ambient Scribe and routed to a Claude Code session through the MCP clipboard integration. No ticket-writing, no Slack thread — just a dictation that described the desired outcome, and an agentic session that implemented it end-to-end: read the repo, updated four files, ran the build, and submitted a PR.
This is the 100x engineer loop in practice: capture the idea in 30 seconds, ship the feature in minutes, have the machine write the blog post about it.
What this week signals
W25 closes with a clean week: two features shipped earlier in the week (PRs #19 and #20 for the agentic economics article and visualizations), and Friday dedicated to dashboard clarity and positioning. 141+ commits in a partial week, with the velocity trend line still pointing up and W23’s 203K-addition week still the peak of the curve.
The pattern that matters: executive-level prioritization, builder-level throughput. A voice note turns into shipped code in the same session. No handoffs, no standups, no status updates — just working software.
