Ftoy Crane..

So I bought a bandsaw that weighs too much for me to move off the trailer and it was to awkward to move without a forklift so I decided it was time to build a crane. I started with some 2" pipe and the ftoy. Pretty basic setup but it works well and lifted the bandsaw of the trailer with ease. The load does fully compress the suspension down to the bump stops because the springs are so soft but it still works. Well on to the photos ....

Winter Upgrades etc

Well I've decided to make a few changes. I've been disappointed with the 22r from day 1. It just doesn't have the torque I want for the wet weather wheeling and muddy hill climbs. So I'm dropping in a 4.3 and a th350 trans mated to the Toy cases.

Several NC4x4.Com and 4x4Grace.Com members joined up for a great day of wheeling. We ran welder to waterfall and up easy out and then had some lunch. After that we went to ArmorAll and then finished off with pull cable/little tellico. I busted a bead on waterfall. AFter fixing it I drove right up. Dad had a little more fun :).
