Ok tonight i started mocking up the install of the ram for my hydraulic assisted steering.  I bought the Ram from SurplusCenter.Com I got the 1.5x8x1 Double action ram.  Now the hard part has arrived.  I have to Tapp the stearing box which will be a bit of invesigative work.  Most people on pirate4x4 in the nissan group seem to think just paying texas offroad to do it is the way to go. However I want to do this inhouse, so stay tuned hopefully this will come together.

Here is a pic of the tie rod before test fitting the Ram.

Thats it for tonight.  Tommorow I will start to cut the plate i'm going to attach to the axle.  Also going to investigate removing the Steering box (or steering gear as others call it)
