Mono Wheel motorcycle trailer Day 1 Minimize

Today I started building this mono wheel motorcycle trailer for my father-in-law. It's designed to track with the motorcycle as it leans through the curves. He mentioned a trailer before but didn't want one because of the way it would track so I decided to build him one that would work a little better.

I started off by building a frame out of 1" steel and welded the Square axle stud to it.  I will be using a trailer 4 lug hub from Northern tools and the corresponding stud.
Next I cut some V-notches out of some 1" angle iron and bent it into a rectangle.  Then I welded it all together.

Squaring up basket frame.

Welding Frame to basket Frame

Finished with Day 1.

I have the same kind of idea to build myself a trailer for my next year trip across the US. I Had this idea to use a torx axel type of suspension so with a pair I could build tow trailer. I noticed you didn't use any suspension how did that go when you tested it?
