OK Today was a long day.  I had struggled with these U Joints yesterday and couldn't get them to budge. I bought a press and everything.  So today I took some super Liquid Wrench and threw it on everyhing I needed to work on.

I started working on the joints and they wouldn't budge. So I got a torch out to heat them up to see what affect that would have.  Well it didn't help.  So after that I got mad and grabbed the plasma. (Yes I needed to cut/break something quick)  I took the plasma to the cap of the joint just making a fun mess.  Then I went at it from the side and cut it off. So atleast now I had the 2 peices seperated.

OK so thats as far as I made it for a while. (I had some yard work I had to do)

So then Dad shows up and I let him look at the things.  He grabs the 4lb hammer and gives them a wack.  Sure enough they started moving. (I hit that thing over and over yesterday and wouldn't budge)  So we took about 30 min and removed all the U Joints and boy did they need to be replaced. The needle bearings were DRY.

So after that I let dad take a wack at the Knuckle and sure enough it just pops right off. No problem at all. He then proceeds to remove the ball joints.

After that I put new ball joints using a socket and a peice of pipe.

Then I replaced the U Joints. (Before I did that I took some sand paper and cleaned the inside of the Yokes.
