As some of you know I ended up with Ftoy Chassis #510 from the raffle in Harlan this spring. After some contemplation I've decided to build this buggy as a 4x4Grace Ftoy. Grace has been a blessing to me and maybe this will help us spread the word.

I got rid of the X about 3 months ago. Since I had a rubi that was just out of the 36k warranty I figured its time :). So I let the X go and traded for a Mercedes C43 AMG that I might mod some :).
So goodbye nissan world.. I must say being back in the jeep world I forgot how nice it is to be a bolt on queen. I am atleast fabbing skids/bumpers etc.

I finished up the 3link today. I fabbed 2 brackets. 1 For the upper panhard mount and 1 for the axle panhard mount. I fabbed both from 3x5 square stock i had in the basement. I then fabbed the shock mounts. The lowers I bought from ballistic fab and the uppers i made from some 2x2 sq stock. The brakes are the only thing left. Pics below

Had to file down the holes to an oblong shape. Once I did that it went in pretty good. It bolted up pretty easy and should help the brakes alot. I also started figuring out the panhard setup and the torch ran out of oxygen so I had to call it quits.

I spent today trying to get the X back on its feet. I already had the two lower links half welded (Ran out of gas thursday night) so today I built the upper link and fabbed some brackets to go on it. I also spent some time getting my misalignment spacers ready etc. Once I got the links bolted in I made some quick bump stops (don't have the rubber bump stop for them yet) from some tub a bolt and some washers. I then attached my springs to the spring perches and put the bump stop/upper alignment posts in place. The upper alignment posts allow the springs to unseat from the buckets at full drup but guide them back in place on compression.
