Tapped the Steering Gear Box for Hydraulics tonight. |

Well I started off the night looking at the steering box trying to get it apart. I pulled the worm gear out pulled the pitman arm off and and removed that gear/shaft as well.
After this I started studying the box to make sure where to tapp. My buddy TNRanger showed up to lend his expertise. After some evaluation we decided to shave the hump off the front part of the box and tapp it there. After ...

Ok tonight i started mocking up the install of the ram for my hydraulic assisted steering. I bought the Ram from SurplusCenter.Com I got the 1.5x8x1 Double action ram. Now the hard part has arrived. I have to Tapp the stearing box which will be a bit of invesigative work.

OK my X was overheating at crawl speed and when climbing hills pushing 4-5k rpm doing about 40-50 mph. So after replacing the Water Pump, Redoing the timing, replacing the belt, tensioner pully, I decided the fan needed a shroud. So here are the pics.
